Minister of Defence Received Comoros Chief of Staff
September/20 | am:11:13 / No Comments 387 viewsThe Minister of Defence, Lt. Gen. Awad Mohamed Ahmed bin Oaf, Wednesday received in his office the Chief of Staff of Comoros Army, Gen. Yousif Ijhad, in presence of the Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Kamal Abdul-Maarouf, and discussed ways of consolidating the bilateral relations between Sudan and Comoros, enhancing the military cooperation in all domains, especially in the training and exchange of experiences fields, besides of reactivating the joint cooperation protocols.
The minister also received in his office the Ambassador of Egypt to Sudan, Usama Shaltut, on the occasion of expiry of office term in Sudan.
Lt. Gen. has called for the use of emotions and common conscience between the peoples of the two countries to achieve integration in economic aspects and political stances toward ensuring the national security of Sudan and Egypt, which is the security and stability of the Arab nation and the entire region.
On his part, Ambassador Shaltut expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Sudanese government and people for their cooperation and spirit of brotherhood and his pride in working in Sudan for more than nine years.
