Speaker of Parliament Appreciates Firmness of Sudanese – Turkish Relations
November/22 | am:9:32 / No Comments 143 viewsSpeaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Omer, received Wednesday the visiting Turkish Vice – President, Fuat Oktay, and discussed the cooperation between the two countries, especially in the legislative and economic fields and the coordination between at the international forums on the issues of mutual concern.
The meeting has discussed the agreements that were signed between the two countries and the role of the legislative authorities in signing them.
In a press statement, the Advisor of the National Assembly’s Speaker and spokesman of the assembly, Abdul-Majid Haroun, said that the meeting has affirmed the importance of cementing the deeply-rooted and historic ties and the exchange of expertise between Sudan and Turkey.
