Lt. Gen. Abdul-Maarouf Affirms Continuous Role of Armed Forces in Joint Arab and Islamic Work

Kamal Abdul-Maarouf, affirmed the Armed Forces will continue to play its role within the Arab-Islamic joint action system in Storm Decisive, stressing that protecting the security of the two Holy Mosques is a religious and moral obligation to which the Sudan is committed, and that the situation in Yemen requires the Sudanese Armed forces to be present in the Arab Islamic forces participating in maintaining security and stability in Yemen.
He expressed the hope that the Islamic and Arab armies would lead a joint collective action that takes into account the strategic interests and reflects the development of relations and cooperation among the people of the nation in various fields.
