The position of the Darfur peace negotiations, scheduled to be held in mid-January, while reaffirming its commitment to complete Darfur peace through by the serious dialogue.
Informed government sources said that the government had not received any invitation from the mediators on the negotiations after the withdrawal of the Justice and Equality Movement(JEM) and from the round scheduled for mid-January, indicating that the position of the Darfur peace negotiations should be clarified.
The sources added that the government was still adhering to peaceful dialogue to persuade the Darfur rebels to join the peace process by the Doha document.
