Ajab Al-Fiya Inspects Al-Mairam Area at Border with South Sudan
August/29 | am:11:34 / No Comments 159 viewsThe Wali (governor) of West Kordofan State, Engineer Ahmed Ajabal-Fiya, accompanied by the Chairman of the state’s Legislative Assembly and members of the state security committee, have paid an inspection visit to Al-Mairam town at the border with South Sudan State to be informed on size of the damage caused by the floods and heavy rainfall there.
The Wali said that the state will live up to its role in supporting the affected citizens.Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Al-Mairam Locality, Al-Hadi Abdul-Majid, said that the floods and rains have effected damage to citizens’ houses and properties.He indicated that Al-Mairam town is currently much needy for assistance in the field of conservation of environment.He appreciated the efforts done by the state’s Ministry of Health in combating mosquito and insects.
