Al-Basher Renews State Commitment to Develop Army
April/05 | am:9:12 / No Comments 260 viewsPresident of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal, Omer Al-Basher has confirmed the state’s keenness to develop and modernize the Armed Forces to be a deterrent force capable of protecting the borders and repulsing any foreign conspiracy .
Al-Basher who was addressing the officers and soldiers, at the Command of 18th Division, in Kenana International Air Base, in the White Nile State, in the presence of the Minister of Defense, General, Awad Ibn Auf lauded the sacrifices extended by the martyrs and the wounded renewing his keenness to empower the army by provision of the military equipment .
The President has called on those who hold arms to join peace and dialogue process .
