Al Bashir and Desalegn Review Joint Issues in Addis Ababa

touched on the bilateral, regional issues, international issues of concern to the two countries during the official three visit of President Al Bashir to Ethiopia in response to an invitation extended by the Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn.
The office Minister for governmental communication Affairs has elaborated that the visit by President Al Bashir comes in confirmation of the strong relations between the two countries which will enhance the current relations towards integration in different spheres particularly the economic, political and social spheres.
He noted that the Sudanese –Ethiopian relations can be considered as a model to be followed by other countries, stating that Sudan has continued to support Ethiopia in its developmental progress stressing existence of mutual understanding between the two countries on the fair utilization of the River Nile.
Al Bashir and Desalegn are to sign a memo of understanding which would promote bilateral relations between the two countries as the two countries have historic, deep-rooted eternal relations.
Al Bashir and the accompanying delegation have arrived in the Ethiopian capital city of Addis Ababa where they were received by the Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn, the senior Ethiopian officials and the cabinet of the Sudanese Embassy to Ethiopia led by Ambassador Jamal Al Sheikh and Ambassador Alzein Ibrahim.
Al Bashir was accorded an official and popular reception upon his arrival at the Ethiopian Capital city of Addis Ababa, whereby the Ethiopian and Sudanese national anthem were played, and he inspected the republican guard, and headed to the presidential lounge where the popular team lined up for receiving him by the welcoming songs and recitations of his arrival and the accompanying delegation
The delegation comprises the Minister of the Presidency of the Republic Fadul Abdalla Fadul, Minister of Defence General Awad Ibnouf, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ibrahim Ghandour along with the manager of the National Intelligence and Security Service. 1st Lt. Gen. (Eng.) Mohamed Atta Al Mawla and State Minister Taha Osman Al Hussein
The president and his accompanying delegation will make a tour and visit some Ethiopian facilities followed by visiting the city of Yawsa to inspect the Ethiopian industrial compound at an invitation from the Ethiopian Prime Minister Desalegn.
For his part, Foreign Ministry, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour said that the visit is considered the most successful, affirming that it discussed the economical integration between the two countries, adding that it also discussed the security situation in the area and how the states of the region can find solution to the security threats along with finding resolution to South Sudan and Somalia issues.
