Al-Bili Confirms the Ministry’s Commitment to Provide Services to People with disabilities

Khartoum – Minister of Social Development, Khartoum State, Dr. Amal Al-Bili confirmed the ministry’s commitment to provide services to persons with disabilities and removing

all obstacles facing them.
Speaking at the end of the training session for the ministry’s staff on sign language organized by the council, in cooperation with the Italian Agency, the minister explained that she will continue to work with all partners to promote the rights of persons with disabilities and remove all obstacles and enable them to know their role in society and provide facilities, praising cooperation with the Italian agency and Ministry of Social Development, confirming the ministry’s keenness to spread the sign language in public opinion forums.
For his part, the director of the Program for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities of the Italian agency, said that the course comes within the framework of comprehensive development, pointing out that the project targets people with disabilities in the state of Khartoum and includes an initiative aims at protecting children without parents.
