Bakri Affirms State Keenness to Enhance Construction Sector

Bakri Hassan Salih, has affirmed the state concern and adoption of all plans and programs for development of the construction and contracting sector due to its importance for boosting the national economy and investment.
This came when he received in his office at the Council of Ministers the Chairman of the Engineering Works Contractors Council, Engineer Dr. Malik Ali Dongola, in presence of the State Minister at the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Physical Development, Abboud Jabir.
In a press statement, Jabir said that the meeting has discussed a host of proposals for enhancing estate development process in the country.
He indicated that Engineer Dongola has informed the First Vice – President on the plan and strategy of the council for the coming stage, adding that the meeting has discussed the reality and future of the construction industry in Sudan.
Jabir said that the First Vice – President has given a directive for taking measures for establishment of the Council for Development of the Construction Industry in Sudan.
