Boosting parliamentary cooperation with Sudan stressed
March/09 | pm:3:32 / No Comments 283 viewsRepresentatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla hailed strong and distinguished relations between Bahrain and Sudan under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Beshir. He was speaking as he received today Sudanese Ambassador to Bahrain Abdulrahman Khalil Afandi, in the presence of Deputy Speaker of the Arab Parliament MP Adel Al Asoumi and MP Jamal Dawed, the member of the Services Committee and the Bahraini-Sudanese Friendship Committee.
The Sudanese ambassador conveyed to the Representatives Council Speaker the greetings of his Sudanese counterpart. Both sides discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation.
The Representatives Council Speaker hailed joint efforts to further cement relations between the two brotherly countries, praising Sudan’s historic and unwavering supportive stance to the security of Bahrain and the GCC countries.
