FVP Leads Sudan Delegation to Arab Summit in Tunisia
March/28 | am:10:22 / No Comments 152 viewsThe First Vice – President and Defence Minister, Lt. Gen. Awad Mohamad Ahmed Ibn-Auf, will lead Sudan delegation to the 30th Arab Summit, scheduled to be held in Tunis during March 30 – 31.
The Foreign Minister, Dr. Dirdiri Mohamad Ahmad, will participate in the Arab League’s ministerial meeting scheduled in next Friday.
The preparatory meeting of the permanent representatives and senior officials was held and was preceded by a meeting of the League’s Economic and Social Council at the senior officials’ level.
the summit will discuss a number of issues including the Arab – Israeli conflict, the Israeli violations in the occupied Quds and Golan, the developments in the Syrian crisis and the situation in Yemen and Libya.
The issue of support to the peace and development efforts in Sudan and Somalia will also be discussed.
