Hashim Haroun: Heat of International Olympic Committee, Sheikh Ahmed Al- Soubah Invited to Visit Sudan

The Chairman of the Sudanese Olympic Committee, hashim Haroun, and engineer, Husam Hashim, returned home Yestarday Sunday, after taking part in the general assembly of the Union of National Olympic Committees (NOC) held in the Czech Republic in 2-3 of current month.
The Secretary General of the Olympic Committee, noted in press statements that the Sudanese Olympic Committee has found appreciation from higher levels figures for its cooperation, implementation of programs, and communication with Olympic Solidarity Committee.
He underlined that they have extended invitation to the head of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach to visit Sudan and to attend the distribution of the sports equipment in the displaced persons camps in Darfur , especially that the international Olympic committee played great role in this project.
He said that another invitation was extended to al- Shiekh Ahmed al – Soubah the Chairman of the Union of National Olympic Committees (NOC).
On the other hand, the Secretary General of the Sudanese Olympic Committee has participated in the 3 rd meeting of Executive Office of the African 5 th zone (zone five), where he provide detailed review to the programs in the previous period, and for the coming one, especially the Youth Olympic Week, and the Young People Week expected to be organized in next month, he indicated readiness of the committee to host any proposed activities from the (zone five).
