Japan Congratulates Sudanese People on Formation of New Government

The Information Secretary at the Japanese Foreign Ministry said that Japan congratulates all Sudanese people on commencement of its new march towards transition to the civilian rule .
He added that Japan was closely following the situation in Sudan and hopes the commitment to good faith by all the parties of the agreement and that cooperation will prevails for handling the challenges during the transitional period.
