Kabbashi Attends Ceremony of Honoring African Mediation Team

Shams- Eddin Kabashi, has attended the cermony organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the Friendship Hall, for honoring the African Mediation Team between the TMC and the Forces of Freedom and Change.
The Undersecretary Incharge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Omer Dahab, has lauded the sincere efforts of the mediation team which has resulted in the singing of the constitutional declaration.
The Chairman of the Political Committee of the (TMC), Lt. Gen. Shams- Eddin Kabashi, and Ambassador Dahab have presented honorary shields to Professor Mohamed El- Hassan Ould Labbat, the envoy of the African Union, Ambassador Mahmoud Dirir, the Special Envoy of the Ethiopian Prime Minister to Sudan, Ambassador Mohamed Belaish, the representative of the AU to Sudan, and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia to Sudan, Mr. Shivrao Jarsu Tindsha..
In his address to the ceremony, Professor Mohamed El Hassan Ould Labbat, said that Mauritania is the Sudan of the West, while Sudan is the Mauritania of the East, expressing his pleasure to participate in reaching this agreement.
On his part, Ambassador Mahmoud Dirir indicated that his relation with the Sudan started from his childhood, stressing that Sudan is closer to his heart, paying gratitude to the ambassadors whom have served the Sudan in Addis Ababa with sincerity, expressing hope that the Sudan would return to the African rank soon.
