Minister of Energy meets Canadian Chargé D’affaires in Sudan

During his meeting with the Canadian Chargé D’Affaires at the in Sudan, the Minister appreciated Canada’s pioneering role in supporting the transition that took place in Sudan and in developing joint cooperation between the two countries, stressing his endeavor to develop cooperation in the field of energy and mining with Canada so that Sudan can benefit from the use of modern technologies in Canada. Engineer Ibrahim reviewed the ministry’s policy in encouraging foreign investments in the energy and mining sector, calling on Canadian companies to engage in investment in the field of energy and mining in Sudan, pointing to Sudan’s openness to the world through smart partnerships. Norfok revealed his country’s keenness to invest in the opportunities available in the energy and mining sector, stressing his desire to build economic relations between the two countries, he added that Sudan was a country rich in natural resources and mineral resources, in particular.
