President Al-Bashir Appreciates Firmness of Sudan -Turkey Relations
November/22 | am:9:22 / No Comments 232 viewsPresident of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has appreciated firmness of the Sudanese – Turkish relations, saying that the relations between the two nations are strategic and serve interests of the two peoples.
This came when he received On Wednesday at the Guest House the Turkish Vice – President, Fuat Oktay.
The State Minister at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Musalam Ahmed Al-Ameer, said in a press statement that the meeting discussed outcome of talks between the two sides, disclosing that the Turkish side has expressed readiness to invest in the agricultural field in Sudan, besides establishing partnerships in area of minerals, particularly in the gold and oil fields.
The State Minister has revealed a plan for opening a branch of the Turkish Ziraat Bank in Sudan which would contribute to easing bank transfers between the two countries.
He affirmed the existence of a political will of leaderships of the two countries to press ahead in boosting the cooperation and implementing what have been agreed upon between them.
