Sudan Reiterates its Support to Turkey in its Security and Stability

its security and stability, affirming the commitment of Sudan to implementation of the joint cooperation projects.
This came when the Undersecretary met in Ankara Thursday Turkish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ahmet Y?ld?z.
The Undersecretary briefed Turkey Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs on the current political and economic developments in Sudan and the pivotal role being played by Sudan in supporting regional peace and security.
He referred to contributions made by Sudan to solving a number of regional crises in coordination and consultations with the partners in the area, expressing thanks on the existing cooperation between the foreign ministries in the two countries.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, on his part, affirmed the desire of his country to promote the cooperation between the two countries to full strategic and economic partnership.
He affirmed keenness of his country on the exchange of visits at the highest levels during the coming period.
Ambassador Al-Naeem also met during the visit Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkey and discussed arrangements for convening the joint ministerial committee between the two countries, scheduled for March 14-16.
The meeting underscored the importance of removing all the impediments facing implementation of joint Sudanese -Turkish projects, especially the pilot agricultural project that the Turkish TIGM Agricultural Work Institution has started to implement in Sudan in coordination with the Sudanese Ministry of Agriculture.
Meanwhile, the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry has met with the General Director of TIGM General Director and Deputy General Director and directors of its Department and got informed about its fields of work and potentialities and discussed the steps that will be adopted to remove the obstacles facing the company’s work in Sudan.
