Tabitha Calls for Early Detection of Cancer
December/16 | pm:2:25 / No Comments 133 viewsMinister of State at Ministry of Federal Government Chamber , Dr Tabitha Boutros, discussed during a meeting with delegation of Wanasi Foundation for Research and Combating Cancer programs and activities of the Foundation regarding awareness campaign launched in South Kordofan State.
Dr Tabitha underscored importance of raising the peoples awareness and provision of early detection units in the states , stressing the Ministry support to the Foundation to implement its campaign which will begin in South Kordofan to cover all states of Sudan.
The Minister of State called for necessity of mobilizing the civil society organizations and the people to take part in the awareness campaign and fighting the cancer as well as giving more attention to cancer early detection.
Head of the Foundation delegation, for his part, said the meeting came within framework of coordination between the Ministry of Federal Government Chamber and the Foundation to carry out the awareness campaign and establishment of early detection units in South Kordofan State .
He explained that the campaign which will be run under supervision of the Minister of State at Federal Government Chamber , Tabitha Boutros , includes a number of programs and activities as part of national campaign of raising cancer awareness.
