Tawir:Red Sea tragic events alien to varlues of the region and the State
January/13 | am:8:53 / No Comments 152 viewsTransitional Sovereign Council Member Professor Siddiq Tawir has described the recent clashes in Red Sea State that resulted loss and injuries of several people as tragic events that are alien to the Sudanese society known for its tolerance and compation values.
Tawir praised the efforts exerted by the security committee, the public prosecution and police forces in handling the crisis that occured at very complicated circumstances.
He added that his visit has focussed on removing the confusion related to consultancy forum currently being prepared for in Khartoum adn which seems to unite the vision of stakeholders in eastern states vis-a-vis the Eastern Sudan peace talks track.
He explained that he has exchanged views with Forces of Freedom and Change in Red Sea on issues and negotiations process.
