The Minister of Interior addresses the second meeting of IGAD ministers
September/19 | am:9:04 / No Comments 121 viewsLt. Gen. Driss Tarifallah, Minister of Interior, addressed the Second Ministerial Meeting of the IGAD Member States on the Nairobi Declaration and Plan of Action on Durable Solutions for Refugees, which was held in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.
The Minister thanked all those who contributed to the conduct of dialogue between the parties in the country, especially the contributions of the Ethiopian government, the African Union and (IGAD), to meet the aspirations of the Sudanese people to achieve justice, freedom and good governance.
The minister’s statement addressed the closing session of the ministerial forum on addressing the situation of refugees in the Horn of Africa to the importance of establishing security, peace, stability and development to avoid the dire consequences of asylum and displacement.
