UAE Deposit $ 250 Million in Central Bank of Sudan

The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) Sunday signed an agreement with the Central Bank of Sudan to deposit $ 250 million, equivalent to 918 million dirhams, in order to support the bank’s financial policy and achieve financial and monetary stability in Sudan
The deposit comes as part of a $ 3 billion UAE-Saudi joint aid package assigned to support the Sudanese economy and to meet Sudan’s basic needs.
The agreement was signed by Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development and Amina Mirghani Hassan Al-Tom, the General Manager of Financial Markets of the Central Bank of Sudan, in the presence of Khalifa Al Qubaisi, the Deputy General Manager of the Fund.
